Simio delivered a half day workshop at the WSC 2013 describing and demonstrating their object orientated simulation software. In a move from traditional object orientated simulation, which requires significant levels of programming skills, Simio presented their software which in contrast utilises the concept of process logic for model development. The Modelling and Simulation Research Group will be trialling the Simio software package in the New Year across a number of the currently running research projects.
